This was our first time staying at this campground, but it won't be the last. We enjoyed our stay. We have visited all the other campgrounds in the area and this is our favorite. Cell phones do not work here, but they do work just down the road. WiFi is very spotty. The management was very helpful and friendly.
This is by far the most beautiful Louisiana State park that we have been to. They have nice hiking trails and the park was very well maintained. I saw four deer during my early morning run. The only down side to the park is that it is not closer to where we live. We stayed for a week during the New Years holidays. Reserve a lake site if possible. It was so nice waking up to that view.
The campground is very well managed. I would have to give management a 10. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful. Although the sites were very level and clean, they were too close together. The pool was too small for the number of sites. There is absolutely no shade. It's a nice commercial campground. I thought the nightly rate was a little too expensive considering there is no cable hookup.
This is a nice campground. We already have another trip planned this fall. There were a few minor things that kept me from rating this campground higher. The grass needed to be cut. When we arrived our trash container at our site was already full and did not get emptied for 2 days. I thought the pool was too small for the number of sites at the campground. Overall we still enjoyed the campground.
This is a very nice campground. It is small and the sites are a little close together. For the area, this is one of the nicest rv parks that we found. The owners are very nice and will go out of their way to help. We were greated when we arrived. They led us to our site and helped us set up. This is a great place if you have children.
This is the type of RV park that we look for. Plenty of room between sites and shade trees. It was very quiet. There are two beach areas for swimming. The lake is beautiful.
